The most inexpensive system entry features seven numbers and it costs 140 pesos. The most expensive Lotto 6/42 system consists of 12 numbers that can produce a total of 924 six-digit combinations. A 12-number entry into Lotto 6/42 will cost you 18,480 pesos.
Lottery players in the Philippines have to be 18 or older in order to have the legal right to participate in a drawing. At the time being, tickets can be acquired from all of the authorized PCSO retail venues. There are no online ticket buying options for players in the Philippines or another country (international players who are currently in the Philippines have the right to buy Lotto 6/42 tickets and test their luck).

Lotto 6/42 is a pari-mutuel game. The numbers presented in the table above are the maximum an individual player can win for the second and the third prize tier (the fourth one has a fixed prize). If the number of winners is very high, the respective percentage will be divided equally among them. Thus, the sum could be smaller than the one announced here.

In September 2016, a single retiree aged 60 became the winner of a 31.2 million pesos jackpot. The winning numbers were 10, 14, 19, 25, 31 and 32. The winner chose them on the basis of his children’s ages, his birthday and the birth date of his wife.
PCSO revealed the information that the grateful man would be giving back – approximately three million pesos from the jackpot were to be dedicated to a church in Nueva Ecija.
